Conclusion

Overall, I believe Jean Burgess and Joshua Green made a lot very convincing points in their book YouTube: Online Video and Participatory Culture. Throughout the entire book they cite outside sources and use examples of things they have observed to reinforce the points they are trying to make.

This book explores such a wide variety of topic surrounding YouTube and participatory culture that one cannot do the book justice through brief analysis. It is a very intriguing read. Burgess and Green really did their research before writing this book and they do a very good job of being objective rather than subjective.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in YouTube and digital media.
